Dane Street is looking for experienced CPC, AAPC, or DRG Coders to join our growing team. This is a fully remote, full-time position on the group health side of the business, where you’ll review medical records, ensure coding accuracy, and support payment integrity efforts. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Review and validate the appropriateness of medical codes
• Match codes accurately to medical records; request missing documentation as needed
• Apply guidelines, healthcare terminology, and compliance criteria
• Evaluate claims for coding accuracy, conflict of interest, and appropriateness
• Work closely with clients and team members to resolve complex case issues
• Serve as a final QA checkpoint for coding-related reviews
• Deliver clear, complete, and error-free case reports under tight deadlines
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Certified in CPC, APCC, or DRG coding
• Professional bill review or payment integrity experience preferred
• Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
• Familiarity with out-of-network billing is a plus
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Meticulous attention to detail and time management
• Must be self-motivated, focused, and able to meet hard deadlines
• Tech-savvy (comfortable with Chrome, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
