🧾 About the Role
Equip Health is seeking a detail-driven Charge Entry Specialist to support accurate and compliant billing for our virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program. In this fully remote position, you’ll review clinical documentation, enter billable services, and support the Revenue Cycle team with audits and charge corrections—helping ensure patients receive the care they need without billing disruptions.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Review patient documentation in EMR (Maud) to identify billable services
• Enter charges into AdvancedMD (AMD) accurately and on time
• Resolve charge discrepancies with clinical and admin teams
• Audit billing for accuracy and correct claim edits as needed
• Monitor for missing charges to ensure timely submissions
• Support billing audits, charge corrections, and special projects
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and company privacy policies
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience in healthcare billing or charge entry
• Familiarity with medical terminology and CPT codes
• Understanding of insurance claim processing
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
• Comfortable using Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, Calendar)
• Organized, reliable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in Behavioral Health or Eating Disorder settings (preferred)
