📋 What You’ll Own
• Collect and verify provider documentation
• Maintain CAQH and related credentialing databases
• Prepare and track initial and renewal credentialing applications
• Liaise with insurance companies for enrollment, updates, and terminations
• Enroll providers with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
• Coordinate and maintain accurate provider rosters
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards
• Report potential credentialing issues to leadership
• Support physicians and office staff through credentialing processes
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 3+ years credentialing experience (FQHC and Behavioral Health preferred)
• Billing experience a plus
• Knowledge of Availity, PECOS, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality
• Self-starter with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
