🧾 About the Role
Ventra Health is redefining revenue cycle solutions for facility-based physicians in anesthesia, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, pathology, and radiology. As a Manager, Credit, you’ll lead the daily operations of the Credit Balance & Refunds department, ensuring timely processing of patient and insurance refunds. You’ll play a key role in process improvement, staff development, and client relations—helping clinicians stay focused on delivering outstanding care.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Oversee and train staff (1–2 supervisors and their teams)
• Manage credit balance inventory and ensure refunds are resolved within expected timeframes
• Monitor payer refund trends and implement process improvements
• Ensure performance metrics and quality audits are tracked and completed
• Provide reports, updates, and insights to clients and Client Success teams
• Develop and deliver employee training materials and courses
• Maintain department SOPs and ensure policy compliance

📚 Required Experience
• 4+ years in revenue cycle management (especially Cash Apps, A/R, Denials)
• 2+ years in refunds, coordination of benefits, and Medicare reporting preferred
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
• Deep knowledge of commercial, government, and TPL insurance processes
• Strong command of payer adjustments, remark codes, and credit workflows
• EMR and systems optimization experience (Centricity preferred)
💻 Tech & Tools
• Proficiency with electronic/manual EOBs
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Centricity Business is a plus)
• Strong with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Able to draft and maintain departmental SOPs and policies
