The Scholarship Coordinator will provide support for all scholarship programs including the creation, implementation, and revision of programs. This position will also identify opportunities for scholarship expansion including, but is not limited to, additional outside scholarships and grant partnerships, improvement of CampusLogic tools, and increased student contact regarding scholarship opportunities. The Scholarship Coordinator will report directly to the Financial Aid Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Package student population with trimester, internal, and outside scholarships within Student Information System (CampusNexus).
  • Review students prior to disbursement in accordance with individual scholarship requirements for current and future scholarships. 
  • Collaborate with other departments regarding scholarship and grant efficiency and opportunities. 
  • Identify and coordinate with outside resources for grant and scholarship opportunities.
  • Configure and report for the Daniel’s Fund: Boundless Opportunity. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Scholarship Review committee. 
  • Ensure accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures across all functional areas. 
  • Coordinate, communicate, and solve escalations with 3rd party vendors as applicable (CampusLogic, etc).
  • POC for university for all scholarships and grants. 
  • Create and review requests for grant proposals (RFPs) and alignment with agency and/or university needs and help the university increase its capacity and readiness to obtain grant funding.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university or college.
  • At least two (2) years of federal financial aid processing experience at an institution of higher education.
  • Experience working with CampusVue and CampusLogic strongly preferred.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary: $46,000 – $53,000 annually
