Job Overview:

The Associate Generalist, Employee Relations will provide administrative support for leaves of absence and accommodations. They will also act as the liaison to LPL’s third party leave administrator and ensure the vendor is processing leaves in accordance with LPL policies and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a point of contact for employee leave of absence/accommodation questions and concerns.
  • Enter and update leave of absence information in the Workday (HRIS) system.
  • Manage the leave of absence email mailbox by responding to employee email in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the administration of leaves of absence by being the employee liaison with our third party, leave of absence administrator.
  • Communicate relevant information regarding leave of absence and/or accommodation to Payroll, HR partners and employee’s manager.
  • Process employee accommodation requests by providing the requisite paperwork to the employee and follow-up with the employee and/or health care provider as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and non-statutory leave and accommodation programs
  • Assist with the processing of Paid Parental Benefit requests

Requirements:

  • High school degree required
  • 2 years of HR experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, organizational.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word.  Experience with using Smartsheet is helpful.
  • Ability to use a computer and quickly navigate multiple databases and web portals.

Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range: $22.56-$33.84/hourActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
