Fortreaās FSP team is looking for a sharp, detail-drivenĀ Site Budget & Contracts SpecialistĀ to support global clinical trial operations. If you have experience negotiating site-level budgets and contracts directly with sitesāespecially within a CRO settingāthis role offers the chance to contribute to breakthrough research while working remotely from the U.S. or Canada.
ā Position Highlights
ā¢ š¼ Full-Time | Remote (USA or Canada)
ā¢ š² $80,000 ā $89,000/year USD (based on experience and location)
ā¢ š Reports to: Global Clinical Operations
ā¢ āļø Focus: Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Site Budgets
š What Youāll Own
ā¢ Prepare and negotiate site-level budgets and financial appendices based on approved country templates
ā¢ Draft Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) using standard templates and finalize with site personnel and legal teams
ā¢ Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Clinical Operations, Study Managers, and site representatives
ā¢ Research and validate medical procedure costs to support accurate site-level budget development
ā¢ Maintain contract tracking systems, flag discrepancies, and ensure clean audit trails
ā¢ Facilitate document flow for all internal approvals and compliance requirements
ā¢ Post executed contracts in internal systems (eFiliA and secured drives)
ā¢ Negotiate and manage Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and ensure timely renewals
ā¢ Participate in study kick-off meetings and manage all CTA timelines to meet study start-up deadlines
šÆ Must-Have Traits
ā¢ Minimum 2+ years experience negotiating budgets/contracts in aĀ CRO environment
ā¢ Direct, site-facing experience with CTAs and financial exhibit discussions
ā¢ Strong knowledge of clinical research operations and standard contract terms
ā¢ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple negotiations simultaneously
ā¢ Proficient in contract tracking systems and Microsoft Office tools
ā¢ Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
ā¢ Bachelorās degree in life sciences, business, legal studies, or equivalent vocational education
