🚀 Role Overview: Customer Service Representative
As a key member of our Member Support Team, you’ll help users navigate their healthcare benefits with clarity and confidence. Whether it’s through chat, email, or phone, your communication will shape the experience our members have with Garner—often during sensitive or confusing times.
🔍 What You’ll Do:
- Provide fast, helpful support across phone, chat, and email
- Explain healthcare benefits in a clear, user-friendly way
- Guide members to top-tier care options and providers
- Handle complex and sensitive issues with empathy and professionalism
- De-escalate difficult situations while keeping members informed
- Share insights and feedback with internal teams
- Stay current on evolving procedures and HIPAA standards
✅ What You’ll Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in call center or customer service roles
- Clear, confident communication skills—written and verbal
- Attention to detail and comfort with benefit complexity
- Healthcare experience is a plus
- A proactive, curious, and problem-solving mindset
- Comfort in a fast-moving startup environment
- Tech-savviness with platforms like Zendesk
