đź§ľ About the Role
You’ll handle credentialing for new and existing healthcare providers—collecting, verifying, and updating critical documentation. Your accuracy and professionalism ensure timely enrollment with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans. If you bring billing experience to the table, there’s room to expand your role.
✅ What You’ll Do
• Complete credentialing applications for initial appointments and reappointments
• Maintain provider data in CAQH, PECOS, and other systems
• Coordinate Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance enrollments across multiple states
• Communicate professionally with health plan reps, provider offices, and medical facilities
• Monitor enrollment status, follow up on outstanding materials, and ensure timely submissions
• Manage NPI and other provider identifiers
• Handle terminations, roster updates, and insurance verifications
• Track, document, and report any potential issues to leadership
• Help support billing functions if needed
🎯 What You’ll Need
• Minimum 3 years of provider credentialing experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Familiarity with FQHC and behavioral health credentialing
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial enrollment processes
• Experience using CAQH, Availity, and PECOS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
• Strong multitasking and organizational capabilities
