WVU Medicine is hiring a Remote Centralized Scheduler to coordinate outpatient visit and procedure scheduling across multiple ambulatory clinics. This is a full-time, remote position focused on efficient scheduling, patient registration, and top-tier service. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Schedule, cancel, reschedule, and register outpatient appointments
• Collect and verify patient guarantor and insurance information
• Coordinate referrals and authorizations when necessary
• Communicate changes in schedules or cancellations quickly and clearly
• Manage clinic-specific Workqueues and scheduling tasks in real-time
• Respond to patient questions and concerns promptly
• Work with referring physician offices to confirm or obtain written/electronic orders
• Maintain patient satisfaction through strong communication and efficient workflow
• Escalate urgent issues or scheduling conflicts to the appropriate department
