Join APS Medical Billing as a Credentialing & Provider Enrollment Specialist and play a crucial role in ensuring healthcare providers remain fully credentialed, compliant, and ready to serve patients. This fully remote role offers weekday flexibility, growth opportunities, and a healthy dose of work-life balance—no weekends required.
✅ Position Highlights
• Full-time, 100% Remote
• Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends!)
• Pay: $18–$20 per hour
• Department: Credentialing
• HQ: Toledo, OH (but role is open nationwide)
📋 What You’ll Own
• Verify provider credentials to meet state and federal healthcare standards
• Collect and process initial and re-credentialing applications
• Manage expirations for licenses, malpractice insurance, and DEA registrations
• Communicate with physicians and clients to gather required documents
• Maintain credentialing for 150+ providers with accuracy and confidentiality
• Keep credentialing data up-to-date using Word, Excel, and internal systems
• Ensure all activities remain in full compliance with confidentiality standards
🎯 What You Bring
• 1–3 years of experience in medical credentialing or provider enrollment
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to handle high-volume workflows
• High attention to detail and organizational discipline
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality
