R1 is seeking a Process Analyst to join its GenAI Lab within the Perfect Claim pillar. In this role, you’ll assess, design, and optimize claim scrubber edits to improve the accuracy and efficiency of claims processing. You’ll collaborate with both internal and external partners to drive innovation in claim operations using next-generation AI-powered tools. This position is ideal for a proactive, analytical healthcare operations expert who thrives on solving problems at scale.

• Pay: $87,834.24–$139,823.91/year + 10% annual bonus target

📋 What You’ll Own
• Analyze and optimize current claim scrubber edits for performance, compliance, and accuracy
• Design and implement new claim edits based on changing payer policies and reimbursement trends
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, engineering, and vendor teams
• Monitor edit performance and make data-driven recommendations
• Conduct testing and validation of new edits
• Ensure all implementations meet compliance and regulatory standards
• Identify future trends, challenges, and opportunities in claim processing
• Present findings, analytics, and solutions to key stakeholders and leadership
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations (payer, provider, RCM, or vendor)
• Proven expertise in healthcare billing operations and claim workflows
• Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills
• Data fluency and ability to generate actionable insights from performance metrics
• Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt quickly and work autonomously
