đź§ľ About the Role
PaceMate™ is seeking a full-time Patient Communication Specialist to serve as the empathetic link between patients with implanted cardiac devices and their care teams. In this remote role, you’ll support both patients and cardiology clinic staff by facilitating timely device transmissions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring seamless communication. This is a mid-level customer-facing position that plays a critical role in improving remote cardiac monitoring outcomes.

• Pay: $21.60–$22.60/hr (based on experience, education, and certifications)
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Location: Remote (U.S. only)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM EST (1-hour lunch)
• Department: Patient Communications
• Reports To: Patient Communications Manager


📋 What You’ll Own
• Make and receive calls to support patients using remote cardiac monitors
• Follow up on disconnected devices or missed transmissions
• Provide patient guidance and empathetic support to encourage timely data sharing
• Adhere to CMS and PaceMate’s internal monitoring and compliance guidelines
• Maintain detailed patient interaction logs in the internal system
• Coordinate with clinic teams via electronic communications
• Assist with internal projects and provide feedback to enhance patient workflows
• Work both independently and collaboratively to deliver quality results


🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare-related education or certification preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent multitasking, documentation, and time management abilities
• Demonstrated empathy and professionalism in patient interactions
• Proficiency in basic internet tools and web platforms
• Basic cardiology knowledge required; experience in cardiac/electrophysiology settings preferred
• Previous experience working in a remote setting highly preferred
