As a Backup Care Specialist, you’ll support members facing urgent care needs by building out custom care circles and finding reliable solutions quickly. This role is ideal for compassionate problem-solvers with a background in childcare or elder care who thrive in fast-moving situations.

• Pay Range: $24–$29/hour (depending on experience and shift)
• Schedule: Saturday–Sunday, 5am–5pm EST
• Employment Type: Part-time
• Remote: Yes (excluding AK, HI, ME, MS, NH, NM, ND, OK, RI, WV)

📋 What You’ll Own
• Respond to urgent member care needs (child, senior, or pet via Rover)
• Build and manage members’ personalized “Backup Care Circles”
• Source, screen, and secure qualified local caregivers within 4–6 hours of request
• Identify new care vendors and private caregivers to expand service offerings
• Collaborate with Care Operations to refine best practices
• Multitask efficiently during high- and low-volume periods
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 5+ years in childcare, senior care, or backup care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to act quickly and independently
• Familiarity with local caregiver landscapes and networks
• Proven problem-solver with a compassionate, client-first mindset
• Comfortable working weekends and holidays if scheduled
• Bonus: Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Bonus: Degree in healthcare or child development
