Dane Street is seeking a Board-Certified Physician to perform utilization review services for its Group Health Department. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Review prior authorization and appeal requests
• Provide clear, concise, evidence-supported determinations
• Conduct mandatory case-related calls when needed
• Ensure reviews meet all state and URAC compliance standards
• Assist with QA before report submission
• Use industry-standard criteria and peer-reviewed literature
• Address audits, complaints, and legal inquiries when applicable
• Submit documentation by specified deadlines
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Board Certified M.D. or D.O. with active, unrestricted U.S. license
• Minimum five years of post-graduate clinical experience
• Experience with utilization review and standard practice guidelines
• High-level knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare and UM practices
• Familiarity with URAC and federal/state compliance standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Tech-savvy with ability to work independently and meet deadlines
