Optum is looking for a seasoned healthcare professional to step into the role of Pharmacy Supervisor. You’ll lead a high-performing team focused on improving outcomes and operational efficiency across the Optum West region’s value-based care programs. ✅ Position Highlights
• $58,800 – $105,000 annually (based on experience & location)
• Full-time, Exempt
• Remote (must reside and work in the Pacific Time Zone)
• Monday–Friday schedule (8 AM – 6 PM PST), rotating weekend coverage

📋 What You’ll Own
• Supervise daily operations of pharmacy technicians and coordinators
• Lead process improvement, productivity initiatives, and policy development
• Oversee medication utilization reviews and prior authorization prep for specialty medications
• Analyze reports, manage auditing, and support compliance efforts
• Coordinate stakeholder training and post-training evaluation
• Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory alignment
• Balance supervisory duties with hands-on project execution
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 5+ years of healthcare experience (2+ in a supervisory role)
• 2+ years of pharmacy utilization management experience
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Part B/D, claims, billing, and ICD/CPT coding
• Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive initiatives
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Reside in a Pacific Time Zone state and able to work PST hours
