Optum is hiring a Patient Support Center Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking care. In this fully remote role (within the Pacific Time Zone), you’ll help patients schedule appointments, verify information, and navigate their healthcare journey—all while delivering exceptional service. ✅ Position Highlights
• $16.00 – $27.69 per hour (based on experience & location)
• Full-time, Non-exempt
• Remote (Pacific Time Zone residents only)
• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
• 4–6 weeks of paid training, full benefits, 401(k), stock purchase options
📋 What You’ll Own
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with empathy and professionalism
• Schedule appointments and procedures using standard protocols
• Verify and update patient data within the EPIC system
• Explain insurance, referrals, and next steps clearly
• Use multiple systems to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of customer service experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong phone etiquette, multitasking, and attention to detail
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, between 7 AM – 5 PM PST (with occasional OT as needed)
• Must reside in the Pacific Time Zone
