Optum, in strategic partnership with Allina Health, is seeking a Patient Accounts Resolution Representative to join its remote team. You’ll be the front line of support—answering inbound calls, resolving billing concerns, and helping patients navigate their medical balances. Your work helps remove barriers to care and builds trust one conversation at a time.
✅ Position Highlights
• $17.74 – $31.63 per hour (based on experience & location)
• Full-time, Non-exempt
• Remote (must reside in MN or WI)
• 6 weeks paid virtual training, full benefits, 401(k), stock purchase program
📋 What You’ll Own
• Handle a high volume of inbound calls
• Assist patients with billing questions and account resolutions
• Analyze EOBs and medical claims for accuracy
• Route accounts for review and escalate when needed
• Educate patients on online payment options
• Process patient correspondence and incoming mail
• Maintain accurate account documentation
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of healthcare billing or medical call center experience
• Familiarity with EOBs, CPT codes, and claims processing
• Strong computer navigation across multiple systems
• Must be able to pick up equipment in Minneapolis, MN
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST with occasional OT
