Join the Billing Team at Candid Health as a contract Medical Biller. You’ll work directly with payers to resolve claim issues, follow up on denials, process appeals, and ensure timely reimbursement. This role is ideal for a self-starter with deep RCM knowledge, excellent communication skills, and an investigative mindset ready to spot patterns and improve processes.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Contact payers to resolve claim statuses, denials, and partial payments
• File claims with complete and accurate documentation
• Track and communicate payer guideline changes to internal teams
• Process incoming/outgoing correspondence
• Adjust and update A/R based on insurance responses
• Flag and report on denial trends
• Initiate and manage claim appeals
• Partner with Strategy & Ops on customer account escalations
• Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 2+ years of medical billing or revenue cycle management experience
• Familiarity with CPT codes and ICD-10
• Strong problem-solving and pattern-recognition skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
• High standards for accuracy with a “done is better than perfect” sensibility
• Clear written and verbal communication
