🧾 About the Role
UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Lifestyle Coach to support its innovative Level2 program—an initiative focused on helping individuals with Type 2 diabetes reverse the condition through behavioral change and digital health tools. As a coach, you’ll provide one-on-one virtual support to members, guiding them through lifestyle changes using data from continuous glucose monitors, mobile apps, and care team insights. This role is ideal for certified coaches who are passionate about transforming lives through sustainable wellness.
✅ Position Highlights
• $23.41 – $41.83 per hour (based on experience & location)
• Full-time, Non-exempt
• Fully remote within the U.S.
• Structured weekday schedule: Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM CST (3 days) & 11 AM–7 PM CST (2 days)

📋 What You’ll Own
• Conduct 15–30 minute telephonic and chat-based coaching sessions
• Support Type 2 diabetes members using behavioral change frameworks
• Collaborate with care teams including nurses, dietitians, and physicians
• Review and discuss CGM data, nutrition, physical activity, and mindfulness goals
• Personalize wellness plans based on risk and member preferences
• Drive member engagement through empathy, encouragement, and education
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) or equivalent coaching certification
• 1+ year of experience in behavior change or health coaching
• Experience in HIPAA-regulated healthcare settings
• Tech-savvy with strong communication and documentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
