✅ Position Highlights
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate (starts at $16–$18+, based on experience)
• Employment Type: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM CST
• Training: 18 weeks paid training (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST; 100% attendance required)
• Remote: Fully remote (U.S.-based)

📋 What You’ll Own
• Take 50–70 inbound calls per day from members with benefit and claim inquiries
• Guide members in understanding their health plans, claims, eligibility, and financial accounts
• Educate members on online tools (myuhc.com, etc.) and help them become self-sufficient
• Contact care providers on behalf of members to coordinate appointments or resolve issues
• Provide support for plan enrollment, coverage options, and provider search assistance
• Research and resolve complex health plan and benefits-related questions
• Maintain accuracy while navigating multiple computer systems and databases
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of customer service or relevant issue resolution experience
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications and multitasking across systems
• Comfortable working in a structured call center setting with a high call volume
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Flexibility to work the full shift (10:30 AM–7:00 PM CST) and occasional overtime
✨ Preferred Experience
• Current employee in UHC Consumer Operations
• Experience in healthcare or insurance industries
• Background in social work, behavioral health, or supporting vulnerable populations
• Sales or account management background
• Reside within Central or Pacific time zones
