Charlie Health is hiring a Crisis Intervention Specialist to be part of our mission to create A World Without Suicide. You’ll serve as a lifeline for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, offering immediate screening, stabilization support, and connection to resources. If you’re a licensed clinician with crisis experience and a deep sense of urgency and compassion, this role puts you on the frontlines of change—turning moments of despair into pathways toward healing.
✅ Position Highlights
• W2 Part-Time, Remote
• Minimum: 20 hours/week (Flexible scheduling required)
• Work directly with clients and clinical teams to manage real-time crises
• Make a measurable difference in suicide prevention and emotional stabilization
• Role not open to residents of Illinois
📋 What You’ll Own
• Monitor crisis queues across individual, family, and group sessions
• Provide immediate risk screenings and stabilization plans for clients in distress
• Lead crisis triage coordination during live group therapy sessions
• Collaborate with clinical team (Care Coaches, Therapists, Group Facilitators) to support client safety
• Document interventions and risk assessments in line with compliance standards
• Assist with care coordination and clinical consults as needed
• Support broader CPR Team initiatives and projects as assigned
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Independent clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
• Prior experience working in a crisis response setting preferred
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week with flexibility for crisis demand
• Confident decision-maker with strong communication under pressure
• High emotional intelligence and professional compassion
• Familiarity with remote tools: Slack, Zoom, Gmail, Dropbox, EMR systems
• U.S. work authorization
