UnitedHealthcare is looking for a detail-oriented Appeals Representative to join its national remote team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing and routing provider appeals accurately and efficiently. You’ll navigate multiple systems, analyze documentation, and help streamline resolution processes—ensuring both compliance and customer satisfaction. ✅ Position Highlights
• $17.74 – $31.63 per hour (based on experience & location)
• Full-time, Non-exempt
• 100% Remote within the U.S.
• Monday–Friday schedule, between 7 AM – 7 PM EST

📋 What You’ll Own
• Classify and research provider appeal intents
• Route appeals based on provider participation status (PAR/Non-PAR)
• Gather supporting documentation, including medical records
• Use multiple systems (e.g., COSMOS, FACETS, ODAR, DOC360) for research and updates
• Meet performance metrics for accuracy, timeliness, and attendance
• Work independently and uphold HIPAA compliance standards
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of customer service, administrative, or clerical experience
• Proficient with Windows-based systems and complex platforms
• Ability to work full-time Monday–Friday (with occasional overtime as needed)
• Strong grammar, spelling, and written communication skills
