🚀 Role Overview: Virtual Litigation Paralegal
You’ll draft essential legal documents, manage complex case files, prep attorneys for hearings and trials, and handle communications across multiple parties. This role is ideal for a paralegal who thrives under pressure, loves legal problem-solving, and excels working independently in a remote environment.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and legal correspondence
- Manage litigation files and keep documents organized and up to date
- Coordinate witness prep, exhibits, and trial materials
- Schedule depositions, court dates, and manage litigation calendars
- Handle professional communications with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court staff
- Collaborate with a remote legal team to ensure case momentum
- Stay responsive to client needs during standard business hours
✅ What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years of recent litigation paralegal experience in law firm settings
- Strong drafting skills and expertise in discovery/pre-trial support
- Familiarity with federal and state e-filing (e.g., CM/ECF, local portals)
- Experience with employment, commercial, or real estate litigation preferred
- Knowledge of ADR processes (mediation, arbitration) a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, legal research, and Zoom
- Experience with legal case management tools like Clio or MyCase
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and deadline-driven
- Windows-based computer (MacOS not supported), broadband internet, and smartphone
- Quiet, professional space for client or team video meetings
