🧾 About the Role
Symetra is seeking a Policy Administrative Representative to support the setup, maintenance, and customer service needs of in-force Workforce Benefits contracts. You’ll process complex transactions, collaborate cross-functionally, and help guide internal improvements through training and acceptance testing.

• $22.00–$36.23/hour + annual bonus eligibility

📋 What You’ll Own
• System setup and contract/certificate creation for new and existing business
• Review and analyze submitted documents for completeness
• Administer contract changes including renewals, agent-of-record updates, and amendments
• Support daily operations—prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and service benchmarks
• Serve as liaison to Underwriting, Field Sales, Claims, Commissions, and Premium teams
• Provide customer service to brokers, policyholders, and internal stakeholders
• Participate in special projects, system testing, and process improvement initiatives
• Train new team members and act as a subject matter expert on specific processes
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 2–3 years experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• At least 1–2 years experience with group life, disability, or medical insurance
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage complex rule sets
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
• High school diploma or equivalent required
