🧾 About the Role
Maxor Specialty Pharmacy is hiring a Texas-licensed Pharmacy Technician to serve as an Intake Coordinator. You’ll be the first point of contact for new patients, handling order entry, coordinating documentation, and managing inbound referrals—all while ensuring the highest level of customer care and operational accuracy.
This position is remote, but applicants must be based in Texas and hold an active TX Pharmacy Tech registration.

📋 What You’ll Own
Core Responsibilities:
• Enter new patient referrals and prescription details into pharmacy systems
• Manage incoming faxes, e-prescriptions, and Rx queues
• Complete Welcome Calls to all new patients
• Maintain organized, up-to-date records using CPR+
• Handle intake queues including incomplete orders, zero refills, and Rx setup
• Communicate necessary info to the reimbursement and authorization team
• Scan, file, and route documents daily
• Respond to inbound calls and emails professionally
General Pharmacy Support:
• Uphold Maxor’s policies, HIPAA guidelines, and quality standards
• Support cross-functional projects and reporting
• Contribute to a clean, team-focused, and productive work environment
• Participate in regular trainings, meetings, and performance improvement efforts
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician (active license)
• 1–2 years experience in a pharmacy or healthcare support setting
• Solid multitasking, organization, and communication skills
• Comfortable working with pharmacy systems and digital documentation
