Certified Credit Reporting, Inc. supports screening and verification services (this role supports Americhek’s criminal operations). You’ll work with the operations team and vendors to help complete criminal background screening tasks accurately and on time.

What You’ll Do
- Process social security traces and assign cases to vendors as directed
- Add counties per client instructions and verify basic data accuracy
- Enter required counties, districts, and jurisdictions into the system for criminal searches
- Confirm all names and regions are included per guidelines
- Complete verifications within expected timeframes and flag delays to a team lead
- Follow up on vendor delays, especially items pending beyond 72 hours
- Escalate inconsistencies, incomplete results, or discrepancies to operations/supervisor
- Support incoming calls or other verification channels during peak volume as needed
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent required (associate or bachelor’s preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in criminal background screening (or related data entry/admin ops/customer service, ideally B2B)
- Experience handling confidential info and working within FCRA guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication, including handling escalations professionally
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to type at least 45 WPM accurately
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and common office tools
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time in a fast-paced remote environment
- Comfortable with standard office equipment (computer, scanner, multi-line phone)
