What You’ll Do

  • Manage all utilization functions for a virtual IOP caseload
  • Complete peer reviews with insurance providers
  • Perform pre-certifications and continued stay authorizations for IOP clients in a timely manner
  • Follow up on outstanding authorizations, escalating barriers to the Manager
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Team and Admissions to streamline the patient experience from intake to discharge
  • Partner with leadership to troubleshoot workflows and improve system efficiency
  • Train clinical teams on standardized, high-quality documentation practices
  • Provide mentorship and consultative expertise across teams

What You Need

  • Master’s degree in a healthcare field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of utilization review experience in healthcare (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and consultative communication skills
  • Project management ability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience presenting to and persuading senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of confidentiality requirements and ability to handle sensitive information with integrity
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $53,000 – $70,000/year
  • Target total cash compensation: $58,000 – $77,000/year (including performance bonus)
  • Eligible for stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits
