Schedule

  • Full-time, remote position (preferred candidates located in the Southeast region)
  • Standard business hours, Monday–Friday

What You’ll Do

  • Audit underwriting files to ensure accuracy, compliance, and appropriate risk assessment
  • Review partner agent submissions to confirm adherence to UAIC standards
  • Collaborate with underwriting leaders, marketing representatives, and audit teams to improve practices
  • Communicate audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and help develop compliance strategies
  • Monitor regulatory requirements and align auditing practices accordingly
  • Prepare audit reports, maintain detailed records, and serve as a contact for audit-related inquiries
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in processes

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in underwriting audit, agency audit, or quality assurance within insurance
  • Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, compliance practices, and file review processes
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
  • Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously
  • Solid knowledge of property & casualty insurance products and regulations
