What we are looking for
Truett Seminary is seeking a dynamic and creative part-time Marketing Specialist to support recruitment efforts across its campuses in Waco, Houston, and San Antonio. This role will focus primarily on developing and implementing marketing content for print and digital mediums including, but not limited to, emails, website and blogs, social media content, flyers, and graphics for signage.

This position is remote with occasional travel to campuses as needed. The schedule is flexible, working 20-28 hours per week, with availability required during standard business hours and occasional evenings or weekends for events.

A bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. 
An bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred. 
*A combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of the required degree and/or years of experience. 

Applications must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Media & Communications Manager and recruitment office to plan and implement content under the overarching strategy. 
  • Produce engaging digital content, including blog posts and social media posts, and support website updates. 
  • Write clear, persuasive, and grammatically correct copy for various marketing materials. 
  • Update existing and create new, compelling email campaigns targeting prospective students, alumni, and stakeholders with the purpose of recruiting new students.
  • Support photography needs for events, campus life, and promotional materials.
  • Assist with graphic design tasks, including creating visuals for social media and marketing materials.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
  • Ability to comply with university policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

The budgeted hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $21.63 – $24.03. The full salary range for this position classification is $21.63 – $24.03.

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certification, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs.
