Schedule
- Temporary position lasting 60–120 days
- Training: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT (first week)
- Post-training: Flexible schedule between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT
- Fully remote work
- $17.00 per hour
- Eligible for health insurance and 401(k)
Responsibilities
- Intake and create cases in applicable systems
- Perform timely data entry of medical claim details
- Make adjustments to medical claims as needed
- Conduct outreach to customers for additional claim information
- Research internal systems to gather necessary data
- Ensure HIPAA compliance at all times
- Handle PHI-sensitive data in a secure manner
- Support other tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology
- Proficiency with computer navigation and data entry
- High-speed internet and quiet, distraction-free workspace
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Ability to work independently without frequent supervision
- Excel experience preferred
- Regular, reliable attendance
