Schedule
- Temporary, full-time role: October 13, 2025 – February 13, 2026
- Virtual training required: Week 1 (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm PT)
- Hours: Flexible availability between 6am–5pm PT, Sunday–Friday (including some holidays)
- Pay: $18.79–$20.10/hr (location-based), $21.50/hr for Seattle HQ hybrid staff
Responsibilities
- Answer calls, chats, emails, texts, and social media inquiries with enthusiasm and care
- Provide expert product knowledge and act as a Brooks brand ambassador
- Assist with orders: place, track, modify, process returns, and troubleshoot issues
- De-escalate frustrated customers and resolve inquiries with empathy
- Flag and escalate potential fraud or recurring issues to leadership
- Support marketing, retail, and event-related runner inquiries
- Accurately document interactions and analyze data for process improvements
Requirements
- Available full-time for the full temporary period (Oct 13 – Feb 13)
- Associate’s degree or 1+ years customer service experience (contact center or run industry a bonus)
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, social media)
- Typing speed 60+ WPM, with accuracy and clear communication skills
- Positive, professional, and empathetic customer interaction style
- Ability to multi-task, balance priorities, and work both independently and as part of a team
- Keen attention to detail and ability to connect decisions to customer impact
- Passion for running and alignment with Brooks values
