Schedule
- Full-time, remote role (with option to work from Waukesha, WI)
- Consistent schedule with productivity expectations (95%+ monthly standard)
What You’ll Do
- Provide telephonic medical case management for injured individuals
- Coordinate care with patients, physicians, healthcare providers, employers, and referral sources
- Assess treatment plans for appropriateness, cost-effectiveness, and medical necessity
- Make independent medical recommendations and negotiate care options with providers and payers
- Oversee delivery of medical equipment and nursing services as needed
- Document case progress, prepare organized reports, and meet deadlines
- Ensure HIPAA and compliance standards are met at all times
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree required; BSN preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license
- 3+ years of recent clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation, orthopedics, or neurology
- Strong background in utilization review, case management, or managed care
- URAC-recognized case management certification (CCM, ACM, CDMS, etc.) required within 3 years of hire if not already held
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to explain medical conditions clearly to patients and families
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel required) and strong organizational/time management skills
