- Full-time, exempt role
Responsibilities
- Retrieve medical records, complete paperwork, and manage prior authorizations.
- Coordinate specialist referrals and virtually greet patients prior to neurology visits.
- Uphold HIPAA standards while advocating for patients with providers, insurers, and care partners.
- Document interactions, follow standardized workflows, and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain supportive relationships with multidisciplinary care teams and external medical partners.
- Represent Synapticure’s mission with empathy, professionalism, and clarity.
Requirements
- Active Medical Assistant certification.
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Experience handling medical records and managing referrals (preferred).
- Startup or high-growth healthcare experience (preferred).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
