Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Customer Service Agent, you will:
- Insurance Verification and explanation of benefits to patients
- Respond / Answer incoming calls from customers routed from a CareNow clinic to a centralized queue and Quote estimated wait times
- Knowledge of Urgent Care EMR – able to access and read notes and referral orders, Register Web Check-Ins patients in EMR when indicated
- Trouble shoot/ resolve problems
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- Make out bound calls to Web Check-In patients as needed, Follow up with patients with customer care questions
You will need:
- 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting
- 1+ years of experience in a Customer Service or help desk capacity
- Experience using Experity for electronic health records or an EHR system is required
- Must have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook and Internet.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to handle complaint and unpleasant patients in a professional manner.
