What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly charge entry team assignments
- Hold team members accountable for productivity and quality standards
- Resolve reconciliation, charge entry issues, delays, and front-end edits
- Perform monthly audits to ensure all cases are entered by month-end close
- Review accuracy of batches and correct concurrency or keying errors
- Monitor claim submissions to ensure clearinghouse receipt and proper mailing
- Lead regular team meetings and communicate practice updates
- Train new and existing staff while providing ongoing feedback and evaluations
- Approve timesheets, manage time off requests, and ensure work coverage
- Collaborate with leadership to improve billing processes and cycle times
- Mentor and counsel employees to foster growth and positive results
What You’ll Bring
- High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in anesthesia or clinical pain setting preferred (related experience considered)
- At least 2 years of prior supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance payer practices
- Ability to examine documents for accuracy, resolve complex problems, and correct errors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multitask effectively
