Schedule
- Full-time, remote role
- Standard business hours, with opportunities for team collaboration
Responsibilities
- Investigate new potential subrogation cases, gathering missing information and recovery opportunities
- Place outbound calls and issue correspondence to health plan members, insurers, and attorneys
- Pursue recoveries across workers’ compensation, liability, med-pay, no-fault, and uninsured/underinsured cases
- Review claims systems to identify subrogation potential and log accurate case notes
- Respond promptly to electronic, written, and verbal communications
- Collaborate with legal managers when needed to resolve complex cases
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations
- Meet departmental productivity and quality standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet research tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong time management
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of subrogation experience
- 1+ years of claims processing experience
- 1+ years working in a high-volume call support environment
