Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Student Support, Scheduling and Facilitation, Moderating online forums

  • Responsible for content and program support to students in certification trainings by phone, email, ticketing system, and community and online forums
  • Provide high quality support and guidance to students within specified boundaries
  • Meet or exceed metrics for number of tickets/calls, time spent with students
  • Work with Director on student support strategy
  • Manage and report out on retention, call volume, student activity, etc. managing to goals
  • Schedule out each training (under direction of director), including session open dates and live interactions using LMS content authoring tools, Zoom (or similar) video conference scheduling, and email scheduling tools
  • Host live calls, intro educator, manage technology, upload session
  • Manage graduation procedures
  • Manage students who do not pass the course
  • Archive courses and associated groups
  • Some LMS management
  • Answer questions on discussion forums, either prompted or unprompted
  • Manage facebook groups for each cohort, setting up groups, sunsetting groups
