Responsibilities:
- Has overall control and accountability for Yahoo! fixed asset, leases, facilities and prepaid accounting
- Ensures timely, accurate, and complete accounting and reporting
- Identifies and evaluates complex or unusual business initiatives which require in depth knowledge of accounting policy and Yahoo strategy
- Establish fixed asset and leasing controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
- Represents the Accounting department as the technical expert in this area
- Coordinate audit and tax compliance
- Lead cross-functional projects
- Drive process improvement and automation to improve efficiency
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with accounting and business partners
- Provides Leadership and direction to team including development, training, coaching, and performance management
- Develops strategic goals, objectives and priorities for Fixed asset assets and leasing team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Master’s degree in Accounting or CPA preferred
- Minimum 10 years high volume Fixed Asset and Leasing experience
- Experience leading and managing teams
- Experienced in interpreting technical accounting guidance
- Experience in Oracle or other large ERP systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines

The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
