At Medtronic Cardiac and Vascular Group (CVG) we’re committed to forging new paths and partnerships that help healthcare systems improve clinical outcomes, expand access to care , and optimize operational efficiencies. The CVG Remote Sales Rep sells Medtronic’s Cardiac and Vascular Group products remotely & retains end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations in this office-based role.
Based on territory coverage, the idea candidate will reside in the Pacific/Central Regions of the United States.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Remotely sells Medtronic’s CVG products and retains end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals.
- Identify, develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate.
- Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies.
- Promotes and establishes education of the company’s products and/or services.
- Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems.
- Arranges demonstration of products by field sales representatives.
- Assists the field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities as well as providing on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up.
MUST HAVE:
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in sales, contracts, training, clinical, marketing, customer/tech services, customer education or other customer facing role/experience.
- 2+ years in the medical/health industry
NICE TO HAVE: (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
- 5+ years experience in health care sales
- Sales in medical devices, capital equipment sales, surgical sales or in-hospital pharmaceuticals
- Practical knowledge of sales techniques, strategies & relationship building
- Demonstrated ability to work independently & drive results
- Documented sales success
- Degree in biological science or business preferred
- Business planning skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to teach & educate medical personnel, peers & technical support personnel
- Demonstrated ability to grasp use of technology & applications (ie., iPad, SalesForce.com, SAP); PC literate
- Knowledge &/or experience with hospital, cath lab, physician settings
- Experience selling complex products over the phone

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):57,500 – 57,500In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
