JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary: The Specialty Lens Customer Service Representative I will provide total support to Specialty Lens customers. They interact with customers to provide and process information in response to purchases, inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services.
Essential Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Answer incoming phones calls, enter customer orders, fax input, and make outbound calls as appropriate.
- Process gas permeable and custom soft contact lens orders.
- Research internal and external customer inquiries and provide problem resolution using the most up to date information, technology, and resources.
- Mail product literature and price lists, and ensure orders are processed by appropriate deadlines.
- May also process adjustments or modifications for the manufacturing lab.
- Provide solutions for customers in the areas of credits and order tracking.
- Assist shipping department and manufacturing lab when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior work experience in an inbound call center environment or customer service experience is required.
- NCLE Certification required within one year.
- Continuing education (classes, industry articles & tests) to maintain certificate is required every three years.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (safety/weight belt provided, if requested). Specific vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $13.67 to $22.78
CA Residents is $16.08 to $26.80
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
