From Day One is a media outlet and conference series dedicated to helping companies navigate change in ways that put people first. Since 2018, we’ve hosted over 1,000 speakers, reached more than 150,000 attendees, and brought our events to 20+ U.S. cities. We connect leaders across HR, CSR, marketing, communications, academia, and civic spaces to share strategies that benefit workers, customers, and communities.
Schedule
- Remote, full-time role
- Some travel required for conferences across the U.S. (fall, winter, and spring seasons)
- $50,000 annual starting salary, with opportunities for raises and advancement
What You’ll Do
- Research and identify notable speakers, including authors, executives, academics, and activists
- Pitch, contact, and secure bookings for upcoming events
- Track speaker outreach progress and booking goals
- Maintain and update contact management systems with accurate details
- Coordinate speaker preparation and ensure smooth event participation
- Represent the mission of From Day One with passion and enthusiasm in all outreach
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a related role
- Strong writing skills in a business context
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Confident verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with business software (MS Office, Google Workspace, or similar)
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and excited to contribute to a mission-driven team
