What You’ll Do
- Sort and filter large data sets in Excel to identify priority accounts for settlement negotiations.
- Negotiate with creditors, collection agencies, and debt buyers on behalf of clients.
- Calculate client settlement payment options based on budgets.
- Maintain organized records of creditor contacts, negotiations, and outcomes.
- Communicate with creditors via phone, email, and fax to secure agreements.
- Follow up on accounts under negotiation and ensure payments are scheduled.
What You Need
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in customer support, finance, or negotiation roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Debt Pay Pro software knowledge is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
