What You’ll Do
- Sort and analyze large data sets in Excel to identify settlement opportunities
- Negotiate settlements with creditors, agencies, and debt buyers
- Build and maintain professional relationships with creditor contacts
- Calculate client settlement payment options within client budgets
- Organize, track, and follow up on accounts in negotiation
- Communicate via phone, email, and fax to drive settlement outcomes
- Document and organize results for future reference
What You Need
- High school diploma required; BA preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to apply common sense in problem-solving and follow detailed instructions
- Basic math skills (rate, ratio, percentages, graphs)
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills (Debt Pay Pro a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
