What You’ll Do
- Sort and filter large Excel data sets to identify client accounts for settlement negotiations
- Negotiate with creditors, collection agencies, and debt buyers to secure settlements
- Build and maintain professional relationships with industry contacts
- Organize creditor information and settlement results for future reference
- Calculate settlement payment options based on client budgets
- Communicate with creditors via phone, email, and fax to finalize agreements
What You Need
- High school diploma required; BA preferred or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Basic math skills (rate, ratio, percentage)
- Problem-solving ability with common-sense judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Debt Pay Pro experience is a plus
- Highly organized and motivated to achieve results
