Cherry is seeking an experienced Servicing Specialist who provides great customer experience and holds a strong regard for delivering results. The position will be carefully chosen to bring in a person who is passionate about being a part of a small but hard-working team in the beginning, with a major focus on building and improving our team and company as a whole.
This is a fully remote position that will have a flexible schedule and occasional work on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide world class service to customers via phone, email, chat and text with focus on one contact resolution.
- De-escalate scenarios and present resolutions for tough to navigate situations.
- Provide quality support in the areas of processing payments, due date changes, autopay modifications and other account related tasks to ensure a positive customer experience
- Investigate and resolve consumer credit bureau disputes by reviewing both internal account records and credit bureau records.
- Provide necessary documentation, details, and evidence in a timely manner to ensure all payment disputes and chargebacks are addressed.
- Identify and track customer issues and complaints to ensure transparency and improve the customer experience.
- Work directly with management for improvements from customer level all the way to systems and processing level.
- Work in a startup environment with the goal to strive for improvement with both the quality and method of the interaction with borrowers.
- Review current strategies and provide feedback on how to improve the department and Cherry as a whole.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in customer support/experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with point of sale lending or financial products desired.
- Experience working in a startup environment is highly preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to multi-task and de-escalate situations across omni-channel communication inquiries
- Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, organize and pay strict attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and pride in performance.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, ever changing environment with a team first mentality.
- College Degree desired. High school diploma or GED required.
- Intermediate level skills in working with Excel/Google Sheets also preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Flexibility with schedule is preferred including evenings, weekends and holidays.
