Purpose Summary
The Service Operations Support Coordinator is a member of the Academic Services Team, reporting to the Operations Lead. The Service Operations Support Coordinator supports a variety of tasks to enable business operations across service lines. Projects and responsibilities are determined by school year cycle needs.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities
- Works with established procedures to process Assistive Technology requests and Closed Captioning services (hardware, software, language/large print/braille, and physical course materials)
- Works with third-party vendors to support fulfillment processes – requesting quotes, requisitioning services, and ensuring timely, quality service is delivered to our customers
- Conducts research to support the fulfillment of specialized requests
- Supports invoice auditing and governance process for third-party providers
- Supports account creation and operational tasks for third-party systems and tools
- Supports account creation and onboarding of new vendors and therapists providing related services
- Supports vendor communication, contracts, and invoicing tasks, as needed
- Supports reporting and operational tasks within the Pearson Online Classroom and PCx platforms
- Supports projects to ensure the continued innovation and improvement of our service lines
Required Skills, Experience, and Competencies
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, College Degree preferred.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage simultaneous tasks.
- Strong research, organizational and issue management skills
- Strong time management skills and proven success in meeting multiple competing deadlines
- The ability to work well and remain focused in a team environment
- The ability to quickly learn new systems and basic platform functionality to fulfil job responsibilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Technologically proficient (especially with the use Microsoft Office Products)
- Ability and willingness to do detail-oriented work
- Good problem-solving skills, and the ability and willingness to work under pressure from time-to-time
Key relationships
Works closely with members of the Operations Team and the Student Services line.
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
Minimum full-time salary range is between $50,000-55,000
