Position responsibilities:

• Aprio’s tax professionals are committed to exceptional client service and professional development. Join the winning team that helps clients to develop and implement intelligent strategies that can reduce our clients’ federal, state/local and foreign tax liabilities.
• Our Tax Professionals are responsible for serving multiple clients in a variety of industries. Responsibilities include interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services and working in unison with partners, other tax specialists, including assurance or advisory teams, on delivering innovative tax planning strategies and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business/Administration with accounting concentration
• CPA is highly preferred for this role
• 4+ years of professional experience of federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting
• Recent experience working in a public accounting firm or large corporate tax department (industry experience)
• Experience in Technology (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), digital assets/blockchain, and financial services (FinTech or Banking) is preferred
• ASC 740 income taxes experience is required
• Experience working with companies that have multi-state and international tax footprint
• Experience working with large Corporate, S-Corp. and Partnership returns
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology (CCH Axcess, Go Systems, etc.)

$80,000 – $132,000 a year

The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
