Schedule
- Full-time, remote position (U.S.-based) with hybrid option in Downers Grove, IL
- Consistent schedule with regular attendance required
What You’ll Do
- Receive and investigate Auto and General Liability claims (1st and 3rd party)
- Confirm policy coverage, determine compensability, and establish reserves
- Handle high-exposure, litigated, and commercial transportation/trucking claims
- Authorize payments within authority limits and manage claim progression
- Communicate claim status with customers, clients, and claimants
- Adhere to client guidelines, participate in claims reviews, and ensure compliance with best practices
- Assist colleagues with complex claims as needed
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and team support
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years’ Auto and General Liability claims experience (including litigated claims)
- Prior experience handling commercial transportation/trucking claims (required)
- Adjuster’s License in state of operation (multi-state preferred)
- Municipality claims experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel
- Ability to problem-solve, stay organized, and meet/exceed performance standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
