The Senior People Generalist will assist the assigned Senior People Business Partner (PBP) with the execution of processes in support of the employee lifecycle including talent, onboarding, total rewards, engagement, performance management and development planning.
What you get to do every day
- Provides guidance to employees and management on people-related inquiries.
- Escalates complex or high risk people related matters to PBP.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings and terminations.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute people programs.
- Assists the PBP in analyzing trends and metrics; performance, span of control, employee engagement, manager feedback, attrition and turnover, etc., and provides recommendations and solutions.
- Ensures related documentation is stored in the HRIS database or appropriate files.
- Backs up the People Coordinator with the onboarding process; offers, background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or another related field.
- 2+ years of HR experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Experience working in a very fast paced environment with a consistently high quality of work and a sense of humor.
